Supporting Collingwood Businesses

Collingwood Commons was a personal project I launched two years ago to offer free support to retail and restaurant businesses affected by the pandemic. It was a way to quickly bring ecommerce support to those who were forced to temporarily close their doors.

I pulled it together in less than two weeks and dedicated the last two years to ensuring it continued for those who relied on it. Was it perfect? No. But it served a purpose, and I’m proud to say many businesses were able to sell their products through it.

Now, as we emerge from two years of very strange times and start to get back to normal, I believe it’s run its course and it’s time to retire the Commons. The Commons officially closed on April 8th, 2022.

Thank you to everyone who listed your businesses and a big thank you to all who used it to continue buying local. The response and impact it had surpassed all of my expectations and it’s my hope that it did help.

And a very big thank you to all of you for being such an important part of the Collingwood business community. Without you we wouldn’t be the amazing Town we are. I look forward to seeing all your smiling faces in person again.

We would love to help your business by listing you on Collingwood Commons. Click the Register button to fill out the form and we’ll be in touch asap!
